Bookmarks
Bookmarks are the lightest and most efficient “quick launch tool” in the App Center. They allow you to pin frequently used apps to the sidebar for instant access at any time.
No matter how many apps you install, once added to Bookmarks, they can be found as easily as items in a browser’s favorites bar.
1. What Are Bookmarks?
Bookmarks are your personal favorites inside the Pop App Center, used for:
- Pinning frequently used apps
- Launching tools you use often
- Creating your own “high‑frequency tool workspace”
- Reducing time spent searching or navigating categories
Bookmarks only affect your local environment—they do not change the app itself or affect other users.
2. How to Add a Bookmark?
On the top‑right corner of each app card, you will see a star icon ⭐.
Click it to add the app to your bookmarks.
- ⭐ Gray → Not yet added
- ⭐ Yellow → Already bookmarked
Click again to remove it.
3. Where Bookmarks Are Displayed
Bookmarks appear in a dedicated area on the left sidebar of the App Center, typically shown as:

You can think of this panel as:
- A Quick‑Access Dock
- A Tool Launcher
- A Personal Productivity Panel
The Bookmarks sidebar remains visible regardless of which app category you browse.
4. Example Use Cases
Bookmarks are especially useful for:
● Tools Used Frequently at Work
Such as:
- Batch icon generation
- OCR text extraction
- Text polishing / translation
- Image compression
● Temporary Tools Created from Workflows
If you generate a tool to use for a short period (e.g., batch data format conversion), you can pin it temporarily and remove it later.
● AI Tools
Such as the “AI Assistant” or “Image Recognition Assistant,” which you may need at any moment.
5. Sorting and Management
Currently, bookmarks are displayed in the order they were added (drag‑and‑drop sorting may be supported in the future).
You can manage them by:
- Clicking the ⭐ on the app card to remove a bookmark
- Right‑clicking an item in the Bookmark sidebar to remove it (if supported by your UI)
Bookmarks do not modify the apps themselves—they are simply shortcuts.
6. Difference Between “Bookmarks” and “My Apps”
