General Settings allow you to configure essential and frequently used global preferences in the Pop client, including account information, interface appearance, language, theme mode, and privacy/security controls. These settings directly affect your daily user experience and are usually the first configurations made during Pop initialization.
This section introduces each feature in General Settings and best practices.

Account Settings manage your personal identity and login status, including:
1. Avatar
- Supports PNG / JPG uploads
- Recommended size: 400×400
- Displayed in:
- Top-right corner of the app
- Identity indicator for multi-device sync
- Feedback panel
2. Nickname
- Can be modified to any preferred name
- Displayed in chat windows and sync-related views
3. Change Password
- Applies to local account systems (if your Pop instance enables accounts)
- Requires re-login after password update
4. Email Binding
- Used for password recovery, notifications, and device linking
- Supports email replacement
5. Phone Binding
- Used for login verification and future security features
- Supports unbinding and phone number replacement
6. WeChat Binding
- Allows login via WeChat
- Supports switching or unbinding the linked WeChat account

Appearance settings control the visual experience of the Pop interface.
1. Theme Mode
Options include:
- Light mode

- Follow system (auto-switch)
Dark mode is ideal for nighttime use; light mode works better for daytime or office scenarios.
2. Language

- Simplified Chinese (zh-CN)
- English (en)
Language affects:

- Model prompts and default templates
The interface refreshes immediately after switching.
3. Timezone
Used for:
- Chat message timestamps
- File update times
- Workflow execution logs
If using Pop across different regions, adjust your timezone accordingly.

1. Login Status
Displays information about your current login session, including:
- Login method (Email / Phone / WeChat)
- Whether re-authentication is required
- Account validity (if applicable)
2. Log Out
Logging out will:
- Clear local login data
- Clear user cache (excluding documents and chat history)
- Return to the login screen
Recommended when using shared devices or switching accounts.
3. Local Storage & Privacy
Includes the following details:
- Pop does not upload local documents unless you explicitly enable sync
- Chat history is stored locally by default
- Cache data can be cleared manually
- All privacy-related data is fully controlled by the user
