8.3 Documents & Notes

Documents and Notes are the core content creation areas in Pop. This section explains how to adjust system-level behaviors related to documents and notes, including sorting rules, sync strategy, and AI assistance.


8.3.1 Sorting for Documents & Notes

Sorting affects your browsing experience in the Document Center and Note List. Pop supports the following sorting rules:

Sorting Method Description
By Last Updated Recently edited items appear first; ideal for active work
By Created Time Sort by oldest or newest creation time; good for archiving
By Name (A → Z) Sort alphabetically by title
By Type (Document / Note / Mind Map) Group items by document type

8.3.2 Auto Sync to Cloud

If you have Pop Cloud Service enabled, you may choose whether to sync documents and notes automatically.

● Configurable Options

  • Local First: Save modifications locally first, then upload
  • Cloud First: Pull the latest cloud version before editing
  • Disable Sync: Completely offline, local-only mode

⚠️ Some features (such as multi-device sync) require cloud sync to function.


8.3.3 AI Auto-Completion for Notes

Pop provides AI auto-completion for notes, helping you generate ideas, expand paragraphs, or summarize content.

  • Summaries & key-point extraction: Generate condensed summaries

  • Select AI model (can differ from chat model)

Pop allows setting a dedicated AI model for the document editor and note editor.
