8.7 Feedback
Pop provides a dedicated feedback panel that allows users to quickly report issues, submit suggestions, and share their experience during usage, helping the developers continuously refine the product.
This chapter explains how to submit feedback, how feedback is handled, and how to provide effective information so issues can be resolved more quickly.
1. Feedback Entry (Where to Submit)
You can access the feedback page from the following locations:
- System Settings → Feedback
- Top-right menu → Feedback & Support
- "Submit Feedback" button on error pop-ups
- "Report Issue" link when a workflow fails to run
Pop ensures that feedback entries are always easy to access, allowing users to report issues whenever needed.
2. Types of Feedback You Can Submit
The feedback system supports multiple categories. Choose the one that best matches your issue:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Feature Request | Requesting new features or UI improvements |
| Usage Issue | Function not working properly, bad experience |
| Bug Report | Crashes, errors, incorrect logic |
| Performance Issue | Lagging, slow loading, high CPU/memory usage |
| UI/Design Suggestions | Interface, layout, interaction improvements |
| Model Quality Issue | AI response incorrect or unexpected |
| Workflow Issue | Node execution failure, parameter errors |
| Other | Hard-to-categorize issues |
Selecting the correct type helps developers identify issues faster.
3. What to Include in Your Feedback
To resolve issues more efficiently, we recommend including the following information:
Required:
- Issue Description (What happened? What did you expect?)
- Module/Location (e.g., Workflow Canvas / AI Chat / File Manager)
Recommended:
- Screenshots or screen recordings (strongly recommended)
- Error logs (copy logs from any error pop-up)
- Steps to reproduce (How to trigger the issue? Does it happen consistently?)
- System information:
- Operating system (macOS / Windows / Linux)
- Pop version
- Hardware info (if performance-related)
Example:
Issue: AI chat cannot load model
Location: AI Assistant → Multi-window mode
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a second chat window
2. Switch to DeepSeek model
3. Shows "Model initialization failed"
Expected: DeepSeek should load normally
Environment: macOS 15.3 / Pop v1.2.4
The more details you provide, the faster your issue can be resolved.
4. How Feedback Is Handled
Pop follows a standardized feedback processing flow:
1. Feedback Received
The submission is recorded in the feedback system or issue tracker.
2. Categorization & Priority Assessment
Issues are graded based on:
- Severity (Critical / High / Medium / Low)
- Affected user scope (single / multiple users)
- Reproducibility
- Availability of workarounds
3. Processing & Fixing
Developers investigate, repair, or add the issue to the demand backlog.
4. Follow-up
For major issues, the team may contact the user for additional info.
5. Included in Updates
Fixes will be listed in release notes.
5. How to Get Faster Support
- Provide screenshots, logs, and reproduction steps — these are crucial
- Include Pop and OS version
- For AI issues, include the model name
- For workflow issues, attach your workflow.json if possible
6. Purpose of Feedback
User feedback directly influences the direction of Pop development:
- Adjusting feature priorities
- Speed of bug fixes
- Decisions on new features
- UI/UX design improvements
- Improving MCP tools and workflow nodes
Most of Pop’s improvements come from real user input — your feedback is extremely valuable.
7. Summary
"Feedback" is one of the most important communication channels between Pop and its users. It enables user participation in co-building the product and drives continuous optimization.
Whenever you encounter a problem, discover a bug, or have a new idea — feel free to let us know.
Every piece of feedback helps make Pop better.
